This Heart Of Mine Was Made To Travel This World

There are infinite reasons to love Paris, but one of my favorites is being in Paris on the first Sunday of the month and being able to get into all of the museums for free! Of course, my favorite is Musée de l'Orangerie which houses Monet's Water Lilies in two separate rooms (that I could absolutely stay in all day!) and downstairs there are a few other artists on display; one being, Maurice Utrillo. As I studied his famous painting La Maison Bernot, I could not help but think: "Wow, if Maurice Utrillo was alive today he would be absolutely OBSESSED with Kim Kardashian."
I mean, really, check out another one of his paintings, La Mairie au Drapeau.

Photos in Paris to remember forever:

That one time Shelby was photographed by some random journalist from Amsterdam while thoroughly enjoying a delicious piece of heaven created by Ladurée.

That one time we were on the love-lock bridge just days before it collapsed.

Getting caught in the unpredictable Paris rain underneath the Eiffel Tower.

And this couple who will always belong in the city of love.

When the end comes to your time on a study abroad trip, it's hard…but it is so much easier if you book a ticket to another destination to explore just before you head home.

A few of the highlights from the "end" of my journey abroad before I caught a plane home to the States:

Frankfurt, Germany

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany

Munich, Germany

Dachau Concentration Camp

Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavaria Alps of Germany

Budapest, Hungary

Prague, Czech Republic

There are so many places to see in the world, so many places just waiting to be explored by you--it is never too late to start a beautiful obsession with traveling. I've heard wanderlust is hereditary, sometimes, I think, it just takes one to become the pioneer and lead future generations in a love affair of culture.

Travel Often!
